i've also heard mostly good things about it but i did have one friend that had a really awful experience. it was about 6 or 7 years ago, though, so i'm sure there've been improvements in the science. anyway...he experienced an ache in his eyes for a long time, icky puss and watering, his vision got worse. they were later able to correct it but for a while there he was in hell.
