Am also a single parent right now, but my child is only one, so it's a little different. The thing that I have learned is to take time for yourself. Sometimes you have to tell your kids "Mommy is busy right now and I need you to stay in bed please." Then give them a smooch on the cheekie and send them back to bed. I know it's hard, but if you don't take time for yourself you will end up resenting your children for time lost and I can't imagine how awful that would be.
