well, to make a long story short, my g/f built me up, then she said she was tired and told me to stop. :(

You'll make it. Look at it this way, it's just toughening you up for the greater dissapointments that life will offer you in the future. I never even got a card from my wife or my son till two days after my birthday. Nor did I get a cake or a present. But I have to look at it in a positive way. Last year I never even got a card at all, just another year older. At least this year this wonderful girl here, by the name of Christine, listened to my request and did her best with an awsome set of pics that you all got to share with me. Much better than cake or cards, wouldn't you say?
