Murphy's little girl is sick....
 

Just want to let all the Pixieholics know that Murphy's 6yo little daughter was admitted to the hospital this morning with pneumonia. She was seen by her doctor earlier in the week and was tested for and treated for a possible case of strep throat.
They couldn't get her temp down and keep it down. It was up to 102 this morning. Don't know how long they intend to keep her...at least overnight. She's a real darling little girl. Hate to see her so sick.

If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to ask that we send out good thoughts, good vibes, prayers, or whatever is your preference, in hopes that she get well real fast!!
Between the hospital and work, Murphy hasn't had a chance to check in himself, so I thought I'd pass this along in his behalf.

Sorry to hear about your daughter, pneumonia is a nasty thing to have, especially for someone so young. I've been there myself, though I was a little older than she is, and it wasn't fun! I hope she responds well to the treatment and recovers quickly! I'm sending lots of thoughts full of warm fuzzy blankets, cuddly stuffed animals, lots of cuddles from her delightful father, and most of all, good health! Give her a hug for me...

Just a quick update:.......I just spoke to Murphy and his daughter is doing much better! Her temp is way down and her lungs are clear....
She is being released this morning!! He's on his way to pick up her and his wife up right now!!

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind words, prayers and warm fuzzy feelings. Colleen is Home now, on "New and Improved" antibiotics. It''s good to be home.

Glad to hear you got good news. I guess the Pixie-vibes worked. Sick kids make us adults feel so helpless. Too bad the good news won't carry over to tonights game cause the Canucks are gonna win, again, lol.

I am so pleased to hear that Colleen is recovering, Murph.
That is lovely news. Girls of that age are so adorable, I found a pic of my daughter Natalie at that age this morning and remembered the things she used to say and do, how she used to jump in my lap and give me big big hugs yeah kids are so special.

I am waxing sentimental LOL but I am very happy that she is on the mend.

Nice to hear that she is getting better.....i send my best wishes and hope she continues well.
