-.-Forever in Our Hearts-.-

Some of you may know, Pixies has lost one of our dear friends and long time member, Booger. Today would have been his birthday.

I don't have specifics on his death, but I felt the need to start this thread so we can share our memories of the late Great Booger-Lama. Chat-room Extraordinaire, Web-Radio Caster, Funny Guy and Chef Supreme.

He and Soda were very important in Mayhem and I getting together. I had helped Soda move to him (epic tale!) and then flew from Grand Rapids to the UK to meet Mayhem for that very first time. I was nervous, but the focus on the move and then Boogs' hospitality and goofy laugh were calming. When I came back from the UK and the AWESOME visit with Mayhem, Boogs and Soda knew that I'd be mopey. So Soda and Kiddo got me flowers and Boogs made THEE best EV.ER. lasagna! What a welcome back!

I loved his sense of humor, and, lol, the way he would pronounce (or mispronounce) some of the different Pixies screen names. It'd make me giggle.

Happy Birthday Boogs, where ever you are. You will be greatly missed!

I'm so sorry to hear this. It is always sad when we lose a Pixie, because we really are family here. My deep sympathies to those of you who knew and loved him well.

Booger was a Pixie, through and through. He will forever be missed.

dammit...where's my "LIKE" button when I need it? I didnt know Booger all that well, but I spoke to him a time or two in Pixie's Chat. He will be missed, for Pixie folks truly are like family.

Happy birthday Booger, if you can read this wherever you may be. I wish I'd gotten to know you better. :(

Bugger.

M and I met Booger at the Niagara PAGAN.

Nice bloke, a great contributor to the Forum.

He is being missed.

Fairwell and Good Luck, Booger!

Goodbye my friend. You shall be missed.

Teddy Bear 06-20-2012 10:31 PM

Booger, when you wrote 'dose' instead of 'does' it would drive me nuts. I never told ya that but now I wish you would write it again.

You were great keeping watch over chat like you did.

Glad to have known you Boog, even if it was only here on line.

You will be missed.

I think that those of us who had met Booger and had a lot of face time with him are still a bit shocked. It seems apparent from his post three days before nothing like this was suspected by anyone. I personally chatted occasionally with him the last few months and did so briefly sometime last week Nothing deep or special, just a 'hi ho' type thing.

Booger was the second Pixie I met at the first PAGAN in Niagara Falls in 2006. I had just arrived and after looking for/at the other person skulking around cars in the parking area with that 'who are these people' look, I approached the guy peering back at me and met ScareCrow. :D While we're introducing ourselves another car pulled in with that same look and we met Boog for the first time.:grope: He attended many other PAGANs where we all got to sample the constant and subtle humor we all have know in the chat rooms for years.

Booger may be forever in our hearts, but hopefully, not literally. That might cause a arterial clog.

I'm sorry, sir, but we'll have to operate.

You have a booger caught in your aortic valve.

Really GG.

Teddy Bear 06-21-2012 07:36 PM

*hugs* for Boog
