The holiday is about the mandating of the 40 hour working week, a major step.

Then how come everybody is working 60 hour weeks for the same 40 hour pay we were getting 10 years ago? :confused:

Because the corporate world is above the law, and can (mostly) compel obedience.

Too often they ARE the law ............. vaguely camouflaged in the congressional pattern.
