(Shouldn't it be UNlabor day? :confused: )

The holiday is about the mandating of the 40 hour working week, a major step.

Then how come everybody is working 60 hour weeks for the same 40 hour pay we were getting 10 years ago? :confused:

Because the corporate world is above the law, and can (mostly) compel obedience.

Too often they ARE the law ............. vaguely camouflaged in the congressional pattern.

It'd have to be pretty vague ... They only attend sessions three days a week and it's questionable if they do any work during those three for which they get annual pay raises of $3-5K which go on for life (after one year). :(

Funny how it varies from state to state. :confused:

with some states having 1/2 hour time zone difference. :wobbly:

During daylight saving, it's 3 hours from East to West.
