That is pretty cool. What they use it for isn't really my taste (I don't like beer), but it's a step toward a Rosie from the Jetsons.

Still, one can only hope to see robotics advance as rapidly over the next 25 years as personal computers have during the last 25. :)

Robotics have advanced drastically over the years. Both in design and function. Just hasn't leaped forward like computers. Even computers have only jumped in power, not design or function.

I wonder do you have to tip it?

Yes, but it just gets up again.

Nah. Just the lights go out and you lose your turn.

:shrug: Without the discounts, $400,000 does seem like a lot to replace your wife getting you a beer from the fridge during a football game.

(Actually, it is a pretty impressive robot.)

That's when you skip the wife and the robot and buy a cooler and stock it with beer before the game. This is by far the cheapest way to go........and less noisy.
