Military Theme

A friend sent this to me. I had no idea that the song existed. This is an important piece of music. I think everyone should hear it. The radio stations probably wouldn't play it because it is not politically correct. So if you feel like I do ......send it on.

Turn on your sound and scroll down for pics

P.S. You can go to this website if the 50,000 doesn't work!As a 10% VN
disabled vet,this was very touching!

this drew instant :boohoo: from me!

A beautiful reminder of an emotionally filled time. The Viet Nam Memorial wall was erected to heal a nation emerging from a unjust war,by honoring our fallen troops. It hardly does it justice by referring to not getting enough play time as "politically correct". What are we going to do for the vets coming home from this current unjust war?

Oldfart 10-30-2009 06:40 PM

Just the same.

Lord Snow 10-30-2009 07:10 PM

At least this time they won't be cast as "baby killers" and the like. I couldn't hear the song, but I'm guessing the words are they same as what was written between the pics.

PantyFanatic 10-30-2009 08:02 PM

Right you are. :) (ALL of you ^^^)

jseal 10-30-2009 08:07 PM

Very few wars are just.

Oldfart 10-30-2009 10:26 PM

Yes, just a few.

jseal 10-31-2009 06:40 AM

Whether a war is or is not “just” depends largely upon who is asked. For example, Osama Bin Laden et al. were/are of the opinion that their war on Americans, to include civilians, was just. The civilians killed would probably disagree.

Thanks, Irish, for the beautiful song and for bringing back memories of some very brave young men who gave their lives in service to our country. God bless them all and may they all rest in peace!

Yes sir, they do. Our opinions are a critical part of these discussions; just so long as they are not the only thing we bring to these discussions.

Oldfart 11-01-2009 06:28 PM

Opinions are great, so long as we don't beat each other over the heads with them, in my opinion.
