dicksbro,

A nice presentation. Interesting to learn of the future additions.

Thank you. :)

Looks like a video game sequence.

My blue prints show 3 more smaller solar arrays

jseal 04-08-2009 01:12 PM

themi01,

That's interesting. Is that 3 more after the S6 truss array?

Aqua 04-08-2009 01:50 PM

Very cool, db... thanks for posting that.

Jseal not sure 2 3 ganged each way ..... are at right angles to the main 16 then 8 more in a slanted pattern above Relative term I know the original Soyuz docking port..... then in most animations I haven't seen them either the prints I have are from the NASA Website being I have copies of the original Boeing Saturn V prints on my wall some pics of the N1 Thought I should get some for the ISS and in relatively real time I don't see them on camera on NASA tv though maybe depending on the camera angle I see something that look like solar arrays in that general area

themi01,

There do seem to be different configurations. I notice that the Crew Return Vehicle has been replaced with a Soyuz-TMA vehicle. I understand that the Soyuz crew of 3 has limited the ISS to that number. Does the second Soyuz imply that the ISS crew will double?

The ISS is one cool project. I am a certified project manager (a project geek, if you will), and this is one project that I've been fascinated with for a long time.

DB, thanks for the post. Good stuff!

jseal - the second Soyuz is needed as a lifeboat when the ISS begins to staff 6 crewmembers. That's coming up within a year.
