I had been charged with picking up a new truck (12 Tonne flat bed, with canopy and curtain sides) for my employer.
Flew out of Brisbane ( our Local Time) 5:55AM Friday 28/11/08
Arrived Melbourne airport 8:15AM ( approx 1370Km or 851Miles)
took Cab to Frankston, south east side of Port Phillip Bay, (aproximately 80Km or 50Miles)
Picked up truck and left destination at 10:10AM Friday 28/11/08

Drove home, arriving at 5:00AM Saturday 29/11/08 (Local time)
Approx 1660Km or 1032Miles

Total distance (approx) 3115 Kilometres or 1936 Miles
Time 24 hours

plus 245Km or 152 Miles from home to brisbane airport to start with.

Am so Tired can not sleep LOL

I could suggest you try something I do, when I can't quite sleep. It can be done alone, but is preferable with a partner.

I know the feeling...after a certain point, you get the zombie-stare going, & once that highway hypnosis sets in, if you can shut your eyes at all, you still see the road ahead. Especially if you've done an energy shot (or popped an LA Turnaround).
