I'll Have Mars on the Rocks, Please.
The age old question whether astronauts landing on Mars will be able to indulge in a good cold drnk served on the rocks has been answered. The Phoenix lander has shown ice is present. :) The ice they found evidently evaporated or melted over a couple of days, but that should be more than enough to get bombed. :boink:

If it is water ice and not contaminated dry ice, it's bloody cold up there at the pole.
Did you know it's called Phoenix because it's made of spare parts of it's dead brother. |

I'd heard that. The Polar mission that didn't make it. |

But there is still no intelligent life on Earth. At least, not during election season. |
David Letterman pointed out last night that in addition to water ice, they have also detected salt on Mars.
Now if they can just find tequila... |
The first plant we grow there is a lime tree :p

I"ll bring the cute little umbrellas to put in our drinks!!!

"Where's the kaboom?"

Quote:
The "kaboom" happens when you hit the floor after slamming a few tequila shots ;) |
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.
|
Five tequilas, six tequilas, seven tequilas, more.
