lol Don't have a clue if it play DVD's or CD's I have a 5 disk CD changer that plays CD's and a DVD player that plays DVD's it will also play CD's and either CD's or DVD's that have MP3's burned on them. |
Better is a matter of opinion.
From what I've heard, the Wii is more fun, but doesn't offer DVD playback... yet. The PS3 offers BlueRay and DVD playback and better graphics, but also has a hefty price tag compared to the Wii. |
ty for the input.
i think i like the multi-function stuff better - we have too many components already, and no blu-ray player yet. i want to start saving up for a wii or ps3 for next christmas. perhaps wii will go multi-functional. or maybe they'll come out with a psiii. :D how about games? i heard the ps3 ones are outrageously pricey |
to me put componets together is like put the stove and dish washer in the refrigerator, no a one will do a good job.

As far as the games, I've heard the same. Way more so than the Wii or Xbox even. I've been following the BluRay vs HD-DVD format war a little bit, and it seems the PS3 is actually the best BluRay player out there right now. I also see Scarecrow's point about putting too much into one unit. It's nice, but overal quality generally suffers. Exceptions will always show up though. |
I  my wii
|
We got a Wii for Christmas and love it. What are some of your fav games? We haven't gotten very many yet.
|
If you have to, can you go Wii Wii?

Newegg.com has 204 Wii games between $25-50. They have 63 PS3 games in that price range and 112 listed in the $50-75 range. If you're a serious gamer, with an HDTV, and want a Blue ray player, get the PS3. If you want more inexpensive games, that have a lot of group type play and innovative game play get a Wii. I would love to have either one. But if I were to have to choose I'd probably go with a Wii just because I have a three year old and I think she'd be fun to watch playing Wii Sports. |
