These cakes
Let's see...for the kid's party I need napkins, plates, a "Pin the tail on the Donkey" game, present...oh yeah, I almost forgot. The minimum $500.00 cake. :D
They're gorgeous, though. If I had that kind of lifestyle, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. |
Certainly stylish cakes!...Bit overboard for kids though in my opinion
Impressive as all get out.
I'll let Marie pick mine out.
I'm sure she would've loved them, PF.
These look like cakes that are more to stroke the parents ego and feeling of self importance then what a kid would really want.
Yeah, I mean, the cake for the child's first birthday? You're telling me that a one-year old would prefer a $500.00 cake vs. the $8.00 Walmart cake?
They're still gorgeous, though. |
gorgeous and ymmmy but not for my 4 year olds birthday
I loved the wedding cakes.
I'm just amazed at the things they can do with cake and frosting.
You can do a LOT of things with frosting.
It is fun to watch the show on TV but I would never pay that much for a cake.

Ditto what soda said... I LOVE watching "Ace of Cakes" but I could/would never buy one. |
In my opinion, the fun of cakes is making and decorating them yourself. Mine are no where near as good as that, but some of those designs (like the building blocks, for example) are simple enough to reproduce at home. My little man's 1st Birthday cake will most definitely be home made.
