I've been glued to the tube for hours watching the coverage. For a second I thought Madonna was having Courtney Love envy.

Watching it right now. I just some good comes out of it. Maybe the mindless masses will pull their thumb out of their collective butts and realize the trash that is going on around them and what they are doing and allowing to happen. (not just environment but also political. Raging liberal here lol)

I was going to head into DC for it, but unfortunately, I couldn't get to sleep before 0200 or 0300 Saturday morning. No way I could have gotten up early enough to get my ass downtown for it.

I totally agree with rzande1.I'm still waiting to hear that huge popping sound of eerybody pulling their thumbs out at once.heh heh Only saw about 15 minutes of it when I came home from work at 0700 and promptly fell asleep.

Speaking of trash, I heard the concerts generated some 1000 tons of garbage.

I think the awareness is already there, so hopefully this will motivate change.
