Pixies Place Forums - Beltane Summary

Some good stuff, some bad stuff, about what you would expect from any event you might attend.

Bad stuff:
a) Switched staff job I was doing compared to past years. Kinda missed the old job (runing the fire circle).

b) Didn't get to spend time with one of the people I specifically went to spend time with.

c) Didn't get to wax anyone, my own timing sucked on that one. Appparently, I wandered out of the dungeon just a few minutes before some people came in, wanting someone to wax them.

Good stuff:
d) Switched staff job I was doing compared to past years. Not doing the fire circle meant I was actually able to get to some programming, including the impropmtu poi spinning workshop. (Hey, I onlty beaned myself once with the lacrosse balls). And not being up all night with the fire circle meant I was able to drive home safely, instead of nearly falling asleep on the road like past years.

e) I did get to give goodbye kisses and fondles to the person mentioned above.

f) Main ritual was feakin' awesome, and I got to be one of the penis pullers for the porñatas.

g) Picked up a riding crop from one of the vendors who had a much wider selection and more reasonable prices than the shop near my home.

So, yeah, I'm looking forward to Solstice Gathering (http://www.freespiritgathering.org/fsg/index.html) in six weeks, although that is much less sex-oriented and more "family" oriented than is Beltane.
