Loneliness
 

This isn't necessarily "erotic" it's more about a failed search for love.


Loneliness is a curse,
It's certainly not a crime.
Alone with my thoughts for hours,
All I've got is time.

I wonder if she's happy
I hope she isn't sad
Perhaps we know each other
That wouldn't be so bad

We'll meet on a Sunday
Neither of us will know
We just found our soulmate
Our happiness should grow

Somehow though we don't connect
We never find the key
So close without ever knowing
How near happiness we would be

It's Monday now alone again
My thoughts my tears and tea
This curse known as loneliness
Never thought it would happen to me

This is really good, iowaman! I really like this line: "My thoughts my tears and tea". And you said that you couldn't get a grasp on poetry, hey? :huh:
