March is "Her-Story" month....
 

Time for an international celebration of women. We celebrate their accomplishments,points of view and their contribution to world affairs. Who would you vote for as Woman of the Year? Arundhoti Roi? Molly Ivins? Camille Paglia? Maxine Waters? Madaline Albright? Betsy Ross? Bettie Page? My choice would be Amy Goodman for her DEMOCRACY NOW! program on pacifica radio.

I feel about Women's History month like I feel about Black History month. All history is MY history and if you segregate a month to celebrate it then some people don't feel the need to pay homage to women/blacks in history the other 11 months.

well you asked. My Hero would be my mom. She brought up three kids. worked full time and had a hubby that was disabled and drank at times too much till he got help. She is now suffering from dementia and nothing i can do but tell everyone how she is my hero. She is my best friend. confidant and my mom
