You see, this is *the* classic example of why we Discordians don't pray, or pray seldom, and even then, only very, very carefully.

Countless times throught out history, there have been incidents when a village has been faced by a drought? What happens then? People start praying for rain. Then the entire village gets wiped out in the resulting flood.
