Sea Monkees
The boy got some for his birthday.... Anyone ever have them? Should I have any expectations or do I bring flowers and condolences....
|
One of my nieces got some for her birthday a few years ago. It was about a week and a half long project.
|
Last year the Lost Boys and I did a science experiment with them. They hypothesized 3 different things they might grow in, salt water, tap water and sugar water. We hatched them in 2 liter bottles and kids made individual ones in small bottles. Some of them we indestructible. There are some cute websites where you can investigate while you wait for results.

Sea Monkeys = Brine Shrimp
They require salt water and an air stone to agitate and aerate the water to live for a while.....buy yourself a container of eggs and keep dropping some in every couple of weeks and your kids wont know that some have died |
Am I the only one who thought, as a kid, that they would look like the illustration in the ad?
![]() And the versions I saw growing up didn't have the disclaimer text at the bottom! |
Nope you're not the only one LMAO
and no i dont recall that disclaimer either. |
Irezumi Kiss,
Yes indeed! I remember the ads, and I also do NOT remember the disclaimer! |
I always wanted some but never ordered any. :(
|
I remember the ads without the disclaimer but my mom discouraged me about getting them and so I never had them.
"Trained?" |
