Older folk
 

Why do some people over 85 years old have pornographic minds? Why is that? You can't have a conversation or write a note without something sexual cropping up. Perhaps I am a prude? But, I find it very disconcerting. Anyone else notice this?

(No complaints, here, just an odd curiosity.)

Focussing on what they miss most perhaps?

Just cause they are 85 doesn't mean that they still do not like sex.

I've never met an 85 year old who acted like that.

My 84 year old grandfather still looks at "girly magazines" (as my grandma calls them) and keeps them in the bathroom cupboard with the extra toilet paper. But sex and sex type things never get discussed.

However, back in the day, when I worked in a nursing home when I was a teen, it seemed like all the men were constantly trying to do something sexual to themselves or to others or myself. There were a few women that liked having their hands in their pants, as well. It was something that we Nurse Aides just shrugged off and did our job. But out of the entire population of that nursing home, most residents were not sexual in anyway, just the few men there and a few women.

I hope that when I am 85 that I am still sexy and sexual to Mayhem.

I'm not sure it would weird me out...I'd be OK with it as long as I was not being pursued.

I know a couple of dirty-mouthed older men & women in the neighbourhood but this can be a raunchy type of place. I rather enjoy the conversations.

I guess I hadn't noticed this. I've known a few older people who swore a lot, but not any that seemed to get especially sexual in their behavior.

LOL....Mae, 20 year olds probably say the same some similar things about 40 and 50 year olds. Of course, I'm SURE there is no one over 40 at Pixies. :D

Being a dirty old man is something I'm looking forward to.

Lump me in with that catagory as well, I've never observed such behavior.

Probably some mental deterioration causing a lessening of inhibitions.

No offense to anyone intended. :) I just seem to run into them, I guess. One elderly gentleman wanted me to ride on his wheelchair with him...in his lap. Maybe I should stop using Burt's Bees? :)

I think the generation that is old right now spent a lot of time sexually repressing themselves. Culturally speaking.

Anyway, once you get old, especially men, seem to say "screw that, I'm touching myself" :loveshowe

like you said, it's some older folks, just like some younger and middle aged folks are overtly pervy. :)
