Inquiring minds would like to know ...
What brand of tennis shoe/sneaker do you prefer. Or does brand really matter to you. Also do you have a preference in style, hench, running, cross trainer or walking shoe.

I am in love with my New Balance cross trainers -- they are a "hiking" shoe version.
VERY comfortable and durable -- and they come in wide sizes for big feet :D |
I don't really wear sneakers much, I usually have comfortable shoes instead. I do have a pair of Nike sneakers I wear for playing sports, but I've never really liked them.

Adidas & Puma runners

No preference on brands but normally get walking shoes.
Maybe I shouldn't say, "no preference," just normally wouldn't spend the extra money for the more famous brands. |
I have 4 pairs of New Balance sneakers. All different colors and styles.
|
I have a pair of Adias right now. I need a new pair badly but need ones that have a really good arch support. Maybe I should check New Balance???
|
I have always heard good things about New Balance.
|
I was hooked for years on Adidas. I found the more I walked and attempted to run the more uncomfortable they became. I now have two pair of New Balance that are used for that purpose. All the sneakers I do have are running shoes.
I read on a runner's website that adidas and new balance tend to be more generous in the toe box and nike is significantly less generous in this area. |
I love shoes and I mean I LOVE them..but I hate wearing tennis shoes or any type of shoes that make my feet feel too confined. When I do have to wear something like a tennis shoe I don't care what brand it is, I just wanna know when I can take them off! lol

I've always found that Nike shoes fit me the best and gave me the most comfort.
I've tried Reebok and they just didn't "feel" right, and since most of the jobs that I've had required being on my feet all day........... I've never found any Adidas that I liked, but have tried on 1 or 2 pair. Never tried New Balance or Puma. |
Sorry to say I don't own a pair of sneakers anymore. (No I'm not!) I have shoes and field (work-type) boots.
As a kid I had the option of PF Flyers or Red Ball Jets (period). I know they've added some padding but I can't get myself to buy a rag shoe when I can get a real one. In some cases they want as much for recycled tire & sail cloth as they do for a tanned leather shoe. BTDT ;) PS- How come every time I have to look up references, the page title is "Memory…….."? :hair: |
I don't really care much about brand labels, I have ginormous feet - about a 12W in women's, which is an unfortunate downside to being tall - so I just try to fit my feet. Though I did just buy a pair of Roo's that I adore. :)

My walking shoes are New Balance 852's.
|
Paid big bucks for a pair of special order New Balance a few years back, finally decided I paid way too much for em...I'm also VERY hard to fit, generally 12EEEE, & with the extra sensitivity from the neuropathy, I'm most comfortable with my house slippers from Wally World, 2nd place for outside shoes is the cheap canvas top deck shoes, for work I have to wear these big clunky slip-on Thom McCann's that would look good on Herman Munster...
