This does not seem to be a good time to be an Australian.

Alasse is happy cause Orli is single again *L*

But as for Peter Brock...loss of a racing legend...with Bathurt coming up i'm sure they'll do some sort of tribute

And anytime is a good time to be Australian!!

Sorry for the loss of a hero! Do people admire racers in Australia like they do in America?

mildy kinky cpl 09-08-2006 05:29 PM

this man one the biggest automotive ledgend accross the world he was voted the worlds second best touring car driver of all time
evere since i first met him in 1985 he allways had time never rushed off or brushed any person off
was a bit of a perve as the rest of us our and was a genuine gentelman
he inspired so many young and old alike and will never be forgotten

Aqua 09-08-2006 05:58 PM

Rest in peace Mr. Brock.

Oldfart 09-08-2006 08:44 PM

His co-driver got out OK,so there is some good about it.

It is never a bad time to be an Aussie.

He was not familiar to me, but obviously to be doing it past his 60th year & still be revered says he must have been very good his work...& as was stated above, he went out doing what he loved, & that seems to be a thing we all admire, Australian or otherwise...
