Side effects of weight loss
 

Many of us here are made the choice to begin living a healthier (and thus hopefully much longer) lives... and in the process are losing weight :)

I urge everyone to check out the Pixie Power thread and see the OUTSTANDING results... I am so proud of each and every one of us!!

Anyway.... there are many positive side effects from losing weight... overall better health... less sleep requirements... more energy... less depression... etc...

BUT... the one that I have recently come to notice is a HUGE increase in my sex drive... OMG!!!!!!!!! I can't even put it into words... I don't know why... I but I didn't expect it... and I am even somewhat frustrated by it... making time to masturbate every evening is just another thing to fit into my schedule... LOL... not to mention.. batteries only last so long... and only work so well.

Anyway... no doubt everyone here is either currently or sometime in the past experienced the side effects of weight loss.... which ones did you not expect?


BTW... anyone know where I can get a discount rate on batteries? LOL

When I lost a lot of weight a few years ago, I noticed the sex drive too. :) I think it has something to do with the better body image.

This time I haven't noticed it a smuch. My biggest side effect has been to my wallet -- buying new clothes. That, and I crave strange stuff like nuts now. :p

Fat cells make excess amounts of estrogen and this decreases sex drive.

Women smile at you more.

Definitely the sex drive.

Aeroplane seats are more comfortable.

Men's tackle looks bigger - it's in the perspective - and you loose that fat on the pubic bone that hides about an inch of the old boy if you are overweight.

You sweat less.

Snore less.

Play with the kids more.

Yeah, when I lost weight my drive increased too. Like others have said above, I think it has a lot to do with your self confidence going up. You loose it and don't mind looking in the mirror checking yourself out and being proud of yourself.

Yep, yep, been there......it's a nice feeling. Enjoy it.

I am sure that it has more to do with improvement of my self esteem... the biggest bonus of all to me losing weight.. the increased sex drive is just a bonus :)

i don't need batteries to operate ;)

ummmm ... my toenails aren't getting nearly so long before they get cut .... since it's easier to reach them at the right angle to cut them. :D
