Yep...I've heard that. If I would do it for head sweats, I might....I look like a wet dog when I leave the gym! :p

Yeah now that I'm working out I would sign up for botox. Does it hurt to have a needle jabbed in ones pits? :eek:

I guess it works for the same reason as the face lift thing, by causing temporary paralysis...I still find it interesting that doctors are willing to inject the world's deadliest poison into people, & that people want it done, all for the sake of vanity...

And heaven forbid that we end up with wrinkled armpits.

All the drug commercials drive me nuts...esp. the ones that say, "Ask your Dr. if XXXX is right for you," I heard Bill Maher say, "Shouldn't my doctor ask me? If I have to ask him, he's just a drug dealer..."

BTW...It drives my dr friend crazy too. Mostly because the pharma companies never do a very good job of explaining exactly what the drug does....so patients with heart problems are asking about antidepressants and she has to waste time explaining why *that* drug isn't what they need. :D

PPSSSSST...You want to buy a drug that helps with depression? Dries up sweaty arm pits? Makes you feel like a kid again? Helps control the nasty side effects of chemo therapy? Makes you giggle? Makes sex feel much better than it does already? Has no real long range side affect? Makes you want to eat string cheese or cookie dough? Well damn,it's to bad that you can go to jail for possession of small amounts,but the pharmasutical conglomerates can freely advertise and sell BOTULISM [a toxic food poisoning] by the neddle.
