Skylines

I'm quite impressed with some of the non-US skylines... and gosh how I miss the Dallas skyline. It isn't the most impressive in the US as they have soooo much land there isn't a need to go UP but I liked the skyline or at least my view of it.

I love my skyline. It is freaking gorgeous. The pic of T.O. they gave is what I see looking across the lake. There are so many gorgeous views of the city from different vistas.
I heart Toronto. |

Not as big or impressive as the pictures shown, but here's a view of Peoria's skyline which I think is pretty neat for Peoria being just a small city ...

This is a link to Music City's skyline, including the famous "Batman Building"...actually the BellSouth tower, supposedly the tallest building in the mid-south US

I love seeing Chicago there. I haven't seen the others (except for Dallas) personally, but I can say this, sitting by the Field Museum, looking at the city lit up at night is something else.

I will say this, growing up, one of my favorite "sights" was driving to Minneapolis, heading up on I35W, coming up over the hill out in the burbs and just suddenly seeing the entire city(s) layed out in front of you. It really is a nice sight. I miss that. |
