Narnia
I went to see The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe this weekend and loved it! Anyone else get a chance to see it?
wyndhy? Chey? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? :p |
Me! Me! Me!
The kids and I saw it Saturday. I thought it was a pretty darn good interpretation/presentation of my most favoritest book of childhood. My eight-year old son, who'd read the book a few months ago, LOVED it. I purposely hadn't re-read it prior to seeing the film...which means the last time I read it was probably 25 years ago. :D Yeah, I was ALMOST tempted to stay and watch it again, as my children begged me to do. ;) |
not yet but i wanna
*jumps up and down waving arms like crazy* :p:D we'll probably get to see it between chrismas and new year's - when we're at the 'rents (aka-free babysitters) |
My wife and I went on Saturday and we loved it, too!. Absolutely wonderful show for kids and adults alike. Theatre was packed and it was in four theatres in the megaplex we went to and was being offered about every few hours ... and this was the second day of it's being shown. And, it was one of the few shows I've been to where people applauded when it was over.
Now I'm anxious for it to come out on DVD. :) |
I'm going tomrrow, I hope it's good I haven't read the book since I was 10.
|
Not yet, but hope to go soon.
Did you see where Paromount is buying out DreamWorks? |
Kiddo wants to go, she is reading the books now.
|
Not yet, but as soon as I can.
I want to see this version of Aslan. |
My little kiddo is dying to see it. We'll go next week.

Scarecrow, Yes indeed. It would seem that Paramount thinks it is cheaper to purchase talent that grooming their own. I hope they have better luck than the Orioles have had. :( |
I hadn't seen that about Paramount buying DreamWorks. Heaven forbid they end up ruining what has been a very talented company. I hate seeing these companies that get a good start doing quality work get absorbed by bigger companies. Pet peeve of mine.

Not yet! But as soon as it comes to our little theatre we will! :D
(The Narnia series was one of my favorite series books - still is actually.. :D) |
Alright peeps this has my seal of approval if that means anything, amazing sets and the kids were great actors.....i thought it went well with the books unlike " the Notebook" and others i have seen lately.
|
