Pixies CD ~ Ophelia
1 Attachment(s)
Ophelia cannot be minimized because of the disaster with hurricane Katrina. This is still a very real threat with deadly potential. We have one Pixie that has asked to be included on our maps and she is dead-center target. I hope to hear from her soon and pray her report includes minimal damage if any, for her or her loved ones.
If we know of any other members that may be in peril, please let us know so we can be on watch for their posts. I’m afraid to say the season is far from over for these events and I wish ALL our members safety, that are in these areas. :) http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/gra...4544.shtml?3day |
Hoping she stays safe I lived right there a long time ago when a hurricane hit it was not fun.
many prayers will go out from here |
:jump:
I hope everybody fares as well as Kathy1 has. I just got word from her that she is ok and it didn't get too bad there. she had lots of rain but minimal winds. She says rhere is some flooding in some low areas but all in all, it's good. I'm happy to hear from Kathy so soon. :D I hope we hear from any other Pixies in the path before we know they are there and have to start worring about them. |
((((((((((PF))))))))))
Dunno if anyone has done that ^^^ enough for your efforts lately! I felt a need! |
I believe Ophelia passed locally yesterday, she let out a round of thunder and lightening in the process - and dear God, I hope she took the humidity with her.

Glad to see Ophelia moving on ... but I guess there's another storm out in the Atlantic that south Florida has to keep an eye on. :( We'll keep our fingers crossed on this one, too!
Oh, yeah, PF ... what Lixy said. ((((( :) )))) |
Goodbye Ophelia, Hello Rita

How come it is only the storms with female names that are causing so much problem this year. :bang: :devilish:
