Sometimes Alone Is Good
1 Attachment(s)
Waking up without a partner, not having somebody to enjoy a movie with, not having anybody to ask when you run out of clean socks and other things are well known to those of us that live alone.:( But there are some very definite advantages also. :D
You don’t have to close the door when you take a shower and turn the bathroom into a sauna because of a house full of people. :D The AC or heating vents only have to be open in the room you’re in. :D You don’t have to worry about the seat being down (or up) in the middle of the night. Your bed may not be warmer in the winter, but it’s no hotter in the summer. :D Drinking from the orange juice or milk carton doesn’t start an international incident. :D What are some of the advantages of living alone that you realize or miss? Being able to throw a scoop of berries on top and eating that much from the ice cream carton isn’t a bad thing either. ;) |
Did you say berries??? :lust: :x:
|
i already do that stuff?
am i not s'posed to? :p:D |
I miss eating when I'm hungry, and deciding whether or not I feel like cooking.
|
Not finding the washer and dryer full of other peoples stuff,is one of mine.Used to start my own International incidends over that one,lol.. :thumb: ..Now,I just load the washer, and go drink choclolate milk from the container..

.....or if I want to just eat noodles with tomatoe sauce for dinner I can??? |
I love being able to walk around naked at my leisure, be it from the bathroom to my room after I shower, or just around the house as I wish.
I also love that the house is spotlessly clean, and I don't have to clean up after anyone else! :) |
Rolling over and not worrying about the other person not having covers.
|
not having to fold socks
|
an advantage of being alone....
Don't have to worry about disappointing another... |
Open doors... I love being able to have all the doors open in my house without worries of who might wander in where...
I also love being able what I want, where I want, when I want... And knowing that if I want to be a slob and leave a mess no one will yell at me for it. |
No arguing, no being made to feel guilty because the house or yard aren't perfect. Being lazy if I want.
|
Left out
Feel kind of left out. I've never lived alone. Got married when I was 21 and moved from my parents' house to living with the wife.
|
* Being able to play at Pixies whenever I want
* Being able to enjoy absolute silence to my heart's content * Eating fresh cherries and a can of fruit cocktail for dinner....nothing else....is OK * Having time to really consider the issues and thoughts that are important to me * Being able to *choose* when I want to be social -- all I have to do is leave the house. ;) * Singing at the top of my lungs when I feel like it :D |
From when i lived alone to now is really no different *LOL*
Well except for one thing...only cleaning up after 1 is a damn sight more appealing than cleaning up after 4!! |
