When I go to the grocery store...
...I generally purchase what I like to eat. Occassionally I will see something that looks interesting that I may want to try and I will purchase it. Sometimes I don't like it so I won't buy it again. In fact, not only won't I purchase the product again, I won't even take the time of day to even LOOK at it. However, some other shoppers may love that product and purchase it all the time!!!!
But, you know, I don't go to the store manager and complain to them because they still stock the product. Nor do I make signs and attach them to me to pursuade other shoppers to not buy the product or to encourage them to stop shopping at that store because they have a product there I don't like.
What I am trying to say with this analogy is that if you don't like something, just don't buy it. Don't try to shed a negative light on the business just because you personally don't like a product. If it gets to the point that you just can't stand going to that particular store anymore because of that item is still stocked, don't stand at the door with a sign that states you aren't going to shop there anymore. Other loyal shoppers may not like that product either, but they do like a lot of what is offered...also, many new shoppers who have never visited that store can be offended and may even decide that it isn't worth the time of day for them to even walk thru the store isles.
Those new shoppers may wonder why you are so angry and not shop because it must be bad at the store for someone who was once a shopper to stand at the door to announce they aren't going to shop there because they didn't like one item stocked on the shelves.
