Snowbird!"
 

My wife & I,are now officially "Snowbirds".I am 61 & my wife is 61 1/2.I am,
physically,probably,in better shape than most people 2/3 my age.I work-out
everyday,but I have Diabetes,Diabetic neuropothy,Ulcerative Colitus,& assorted other things.Plus I am a recovering Alcoholic(12yrs10mo-tomorrow)
I was thinking recently,that our place in NH takes alot of labor.No problem
now,but that could change anyday!I have over an acre of land,that is no
problem,in the summer.The winter & snow are getting to be a pain.We bought a place,in West Melbuorne Fla.We will spend a couple of months,there in the winter & the rest of the time here,in the other months.It will be hard financially but it's better than waiting until we have to.I just thought that I
would let everyone know.My wife & I will be married for 40yrs on May 1.This is
our anniversary present to each other! Irish

I'm glad that my daughters are grown!I'd spend all of my time in jail.Young girls,in central Fla,seem to get kidnapped & raped!I have one 12yr old grandaughter,but she will,probably,only see us in NH.The rest are male. Irish

Dude, I know the pain of diabetic neuropathy, & how it seems 10 times worse in the winter...grats on getting the winter home in FL, I'm betting it's just a matter of time before you decide that NH is just too far north to bother with anymore...
