Transitions — Saul Bellow
Saul Bellow, the novelist who won the Nobel Prize for Humboldt's Gift (1975), and who also wrote works such as Henderson the Rain King, and Herzog, has died. Born in Quebec in 1915, raised in Montreal and Chicago, he was 89.
