Did you ever have a dream.........
.......where you woke up and it was actually happening?
This morning I was having a dream that I was making love with my lady, her on top, and naturally I was really enjoying it! 7:02, alarm goes off as usual... and there she was, sitting on me, balls-deep inside her, just like the dream. There were some differences, just enough to know I had definitely been asleep, but now I've had time to think about it, it does seem just a wee bit spooky. Anyone else ever had an experience where you woken to be "living the dream"? Enquiring minds want to know!! DM |
This one will make everybody laugh I'm sure.
I once had a dream that I was taking a piss in the toilet. Only to wake up wetting the bed!!!!!!! It happpened years ago. I still laugh at it myself. |
Oh man i wish *LOL*
MmmmMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Orli :D |
DM383, I had those quite a bit during my childhood. They were like I had been dreaming yet was in and out of consciousness enough to have reality affect the content of my dream. Freaky in my case but ever so pleasant in yours :D
|
I damn well hope not....last night I dreamt that my mom got very sick and had to be rushed to the hospital.
|
I'd love to have a dream like that dm383 ........ :faint: :slurp:
|
Like the dream I had where I was eating the world's largest marshmallow, only to wake up and discover my pillow missing? :D
I've had dreams in which I was rubbing myself in a sexual way and woken to notice I was doing it. But that could've been one of those "semi-conscious" conditions Lil was talking about. |
Mark Vieth ~ Not quite what I had in mind, but it all counts, I spose!

I'm such a light sleeper that dreaming about a lady on top of me, and then waking up to find out it is true just has not happened. There are some morning when I listen to the news and then when I fully wake up I'm never sure if it really happened or not.
|
I keep having dreams where I'm teetering on the edge of having a threesome with a couple of delicious young men....still waiting to wake up to find that one's true. :(
|
LOL Loulabelle!!!
I wish I had that dream... damn... ;) |
I use to have an alarm clock that beeped and would wake up from dreams about heavy machinery backing up
|
There have been times (not recently) when I knew I was dreaming in my dreams and then I knew I woke up...but couldn't open my eyes and things were happening to me or around me. As hard as I tried, I just couldn't open my eyes.
One time in particular, my ex and I were staying at a couple's house that we hung out with. In the morning I was dreaming that the guy had slipped under my covers at the bottom of the bed and began fondling me to arousal. I remember thinking I have to wake from this dream...and then I did. But I couldn't open my eyes...and the guy was still under the covers. He finished what he was doing and slid out from under the covers and just as I heard the door click to close...suddenly, I could open my eyes. I jumped out of bed and threw on my boyfriends shirt and flung open the door and went down the hall to find the guy I mentioned in the kitchen...banging around the pots and pans and starting to make breakfast. He looked at me and said good morning and I stood, staring at him for a moment to see if I could pick up on his trying to hide something from me. NOTHING! It was the weirdest thing! |
campingboy ~ I'm a really deep sleeper these days.....couldn't have happened 15 years ago!!
Loulabelle ~ I'm sure I toldja before...you just need to call me sweetie, I'll be there!! Kaelynn ~ hmmm...so, why don't you?? Booger ~ LOL!!:D Only you could have a dream like that!! Lixy ~ did you ever find out if it was real or not? Enquiring minds NEED to know!! ;) |
Lixy... what you've experienced is a condition called sleep paralysis, which can be scary and frustrating to anyone who goes through it. Basically, your brain wakes up but your body's still in a resting state, and doesn't respond. The imagination goes into overdrive during these experiences, usually driven by a feeling of helplessness... which doesn't always make for a good time.
Believe or not, sleep paralysis is a common origen of 'alien abduction' scenarios. Nutty, huh? |
