More lizard sex!
This very tongue-in-cheek letter appeared in a florida newspaper. Yes, I removed the town name, and the names of the letter-writer and newspaper so as to avoid violating anyone's privacy.
Iguanas should not be encouraged in town
I am a very reasonable man. However, I can't help but be annoyed by the
igaunas that have made Key West thier home. While I understand that thier
pilgrimage to this island was probably to seek the same luxuries, relaxation
and natural ammentities that we as humans have come to know and love, I find it extremely offensive and disrespectful that they fornicate in public view, often in front of public establishments.
I do not wish to be leaving church on Sunday with my two little girls (16
and17) and have to explain to them why those two lizards are on top of one
another. I consider myself very spiritual, and should not have to contend with these "scale covered, evil-eyed, green sexpots." On more than one occasion I have even found myself being confronted by "dominant male" as he puffed up his chin and nodded his head at me as if to say... "Hey man, this is my island and I'm going to have sex with another lizard right now." I would never consider pleasuring myself in public, much less in a tree and feel that they should be fined and /or jailed for such lewd acts.
