So DangerousPet and I are still fairly new to this whole dominating bit but the more we read the stories and the more we try the more we both agree how much we like it.

But we both do it for the mutual enjoyment of it over the agression to it, so I wanted to throw the question out to all the women (and men if you have any suggestions) of just what turns you on or what ideas / suggestions you might have to increase the whole scene. The most efective dominance games are the ones where the sub is kept guessing. Agree upon absolute limits wel beforehand, and keep a safeword handy (preferably one that is intelligible even through a gag). But within those limits, keep the sub guessing.

For example, when I do play spanking games, I often set up a regular rhythm with what ever instrument I'm usiing, and every now and then will pull as the last minute and not make contact.

You might try bindfolding her and giving your self freedom of movement around the bed/bench/chair/etc and using physical touch to tease. Never let her know what's coming next This can be done with touch of varible level, anywhere from a light caress to a heavy smack. Heavyness of touch is pretty irrelevant.

See we are not quite into the physical bit so much. Yeah there is some spanking but its a lot of forcing her down, telling her what to do. I may have to invest in some regular restraints aside from ropes and belts.

hippopotamus...no mono-syllabic words. I think it has to be a word that does not require clear pronunciation to be understood.

If a safe word is used all play must stop immediately.
For this reason some Dom/mes like to use 'yellow light' and 'red light' as safe words.
If the sub says 'yellow light', meaning I'm very close to using my safe word, rather then stopping completely they can change what their doing and play can continue.
But 'red light' stops everything.
