Secretary of State Colin Powell is resigning to return to private life. He’ll be missed.

Hope he takes his son with him. :rolleyes:

Damn straight he will be missed. We woulda gone to hell in a handbasket without his tireless work behind the scenes. I'm a bit worried about who might fill his shoes......Condi????? PLEASE. :p

He is a great man and I hope he goes on to do more great things.

Actually, I've heard that is IS going to be Condi.


edit: I lied....she's going to be secretary of defence is what I heard.

Well, crazier things have happened before, but I would be less surprised to see her heading up State than DOD.

All we have to do is wait to find out...

I heard it on talk radio a few days back. Said something about her taking over either the defense or maybe it was homeland security.....but its definately one of the two

Condi will be the new Sec. of State, just heard it on MSNBC

ok now we just have to wait on someone to assasinate bush and cheney to have that heart attack and we have our first african american and/or female president and it won't be Hillary Clinton!

...but we'll still have a Bush in the White House!

I said it in another thread.....I would think bush in politics would always be a good thing at pixies....

I meant well...

I had a principal in high school whose name was Broom....that didn't work out well so maybe that saying isn't all correct. The year after I graduated he got fired for sleeping with one of the Sophomores...
