Job Application!

Subject: Job Application

NAME: John Kerry

RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including one in Washington DC, worth multi-millions.

I served in Vietnam (four months).

EXPERIENCE:

Law Enforcement. In my career as a U.S. Senator, I've voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA, and Defense bill. I ordered the city of Boston to remove a fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire. I served in Vietnam (four months).

MILITARY:

I served in Vietnam (four months). I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and service in Vietnam (as documented by the attending doctor). I served in Vietnam (four months). I then returned to the U.S., joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I served in Vietnam (four months). I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest. Or did I? My book "Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier", shows how I truly feel about the military. I served in Vietnam (four months).

COLLEGE:

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

After College and Vietnam, I ran for the U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except marrying very rich women and running their companies vicariously through them. I served in Vietnam (four months).

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

As a U.S. Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against their budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it.
I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected. I served in Vietnam (four months).

My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make little or no charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in Massachusetts, despite family wealth in excess of $ 700 million. I served in Vietnam (four months).

I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make more profit from the cheaper cost of labor in those Countries, although I blame George Bush for sending all of the other jobs out of Country. I served in Vietnam (four months).

Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. I served in Vietnam (four months).

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

None. However, I served in Vietnam (four months).

PERSONAL I practice my Catholic faith whenever cameras are present. I ride a Serotta Bike. I love to ski/snowboard. I call my Gulfstream V Jet the "Flying Squirrel". I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scarmouche".

I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and feel it reflects our real culture.

I own several "Large" SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large, polluting, inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for our energy problems. I served in Vietnam (four months).

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.
This was sent to me,by my retired Marine Officer uncle! Irish
P.S.Don't get "pissed off"!These are his feelings & I thought that everyone,
would get a kick out of it. Irish

Kathy1---He lives in Conn.(married my fathers sister)He sent me that, long ago.I e-mailed it to my friends, but to avoid conflict,I didn't post it here.
Another member,posted something about 4 mo.I didn't have his personal e-
mail address,so I tried to PM it to him!I entered it on a PM & got a message,
saying that it had to many characters & to shorten it.That was impossible,so
I posted it.I'll tell him,that you appreciated it,the next time,that I e-mail him!
He hates Kerry, but his oldest daughter, hates Bush.It shows, just how divided
things are.I'm,pretty, sure that Kerry will be elected.I can only be positively,
sure of one thing. It WON'T be because of my vote.I can't speak for me.I
volunteered(sp?)but I would guess that about 85% of the people,that I knew,
would have used their fathers influence,to avoid VN if it was possible. This is
my opinion only! Irish
P.S.Besides,I was discharged in 1965.Hopefully,I have accomplished,much,
more,in the (almost)last 40yrs.

Well actually they own 79 Heinz plants and 57 of them are in other countries, leaving only 22 in the US.

And he is no longer a Catholic.....the Vatican called and uncommunicated him from the religion after he took communion, while being pro-choice.

Thanks for the post Irish...haven't heard from you in a while....I was starting to worry! :)

Mackenzie,

It is most unusual for people to be excommunicated these days.

Even the Pope does not want him

first off John kerry's only conection with Heniz is his wife (Teresa Heinz Kerry) first husban was (John Heinz). Leaving him outside of owning some stock little connection with Heniz.

Second Heniz is not a manufacturing company they are in food processing, It only make sence to have the plants they own are near where the food is being growen. Not only that but they are an international company who sells their product all over the world.

I thought it sounded pretty far fetched too...But I read a report...and I will dig it up for you that the Vatican has asked that he be ex-communicated.......
And I know what you are going to say.....don't believe everything that you read....thanks mom!

Mackenzie,

Fair enough sir. Sorry for being skeptical, but the WWW has taught me to be cautious. I have been fooled often enough in the past to be suspicious.

Thank you for the feedback.

Mackenzie,

First things first, sorry about using ‘Sir’ rather than the correct ‘Madam’; I did that a while ago with CelticAngel also. Must be the misogynist in me…

As for the relationship between Senator Kerry and the RC Church; while his position on abortion is, to say the least of things, at variance with church doctrine, I don’t think he is excommunicate. That is a formal, legalistic relationship between the Church and a parishioner, and a very severe one at that. Were he excommunicate, no priest would be permitted to give him communion.

I noticed that in none of the pages was there any formal declaration of excommunication. While the communication “provides a basis” for excommunication, it is a bit of a stretch to assume that an excommunication of him by the church has occurred. Canon 751 of the Code of Canon Law refers to schismatic acts, such as those of Archbishop Lefebvre in the 70s and 80s following his rejection of the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. Senator Kerry’s position on abortion can be - and has been - called heretical by some, but it is a far cry from schismatic.

It would be injudicious in the extreme for the Vatican to excommunicate a member of the church who could soon be in a position to influence affairs which are of interest to it. Any organization which has remained in business for as long as the Church has is flexible enough to accommodate Senator Kerry’s stance on abortion.
