Blueberries
Shopping bag broke, berries scattered, three got squished in the melee.
But as Pixies have probably had more experience than any single other group of people at getting stains out of stuff, I come to you. I've tried every damned thing over the last several days...and as much as I'd be thrilled to replace this UGLY carpet, the land-people would have fits if not allowed to choose one just as nasty and serviceable. How the hell do you get blueberry stains out of carpet, short of bleaching the whole damned thing white? G |
D'oh!
um try Oxi or maybe color safe bleach will work , it gets all sortsa stains outta my girls clothing , and shes fond on berries and wipping her mouth w her sleeve (grrrrrrrrrrrr) all i can think ~nikki~ |
I hunted a cure and some people who have a blueberry farm said to saturate the area repeatedly with boiling water.

<--- quickly covers the blueberries with boiling spoo.
Sorry, don't have any water handy. |
The best answer is of course, to get more blueberries, and smash them all over the rest of the rug.

I always thought hot water "set" the stain!? Did ya get it out Ginger? I was gonna suggest the Oxi cleaner too. Comes in many forms in the detergent isle at the market.
Boiling water, huh? Well...I've heard it all now! LOL! |
Scissors.
