Update on Disney trip!
 

I left at 4:00AM,this morning,picked up my Grandson, at his house & drove my
wife & him,to C&J Limozine in Newington(Portsmouth)NH.C&J,was chartered,to
take them to the Boston airport.I have recieved,many, flight delays,on my
computer.I just got one,saying that the flight,was cancelled.I just got a call,
from my wife(pissed off)saying that they are waiting for their bags & coming
home.Her sister & her Granddaughter are also with them.That's 4 people,that have had their vacations,screwed up.My wife & her sister,each took a weeks
vacation from work + reservations,etc.She will call me,when they get back to
C&J. Irish

They closed the airports yesterday. It was on the news. Maybe they can catch a flight on Monday or Tuesday.

Orlando airport is open but I guess the east coast is still such a wreck.

Lilith---Thanks!The thing that pisses me off,is that,my wife,called the airline,
last night.She gave them our e-mail address & asked them to keep us updated,on any changes up until 6hrs,before departure time.As of 3:30,this morning,they were still going.Since,I got home,I have recieved 4 updates,
moving the departure time.I then recieved one at 11:05,saying that the flight was cancelled.Besides everything else,we still have to pay C&J for the trip,to
Boston & back +4 driving trips. Irish
P.S.I was also thinking,what if my brother-in-law & I had made plans?There wouldn't be anybody to pick them up at C&J.

Sorry to hear that Irish, I know how ya feel, it sucks.

Damn Irish, I'm sorry about the way things turned out. I've had a few trips gone to hell like that too. I know how you must hate it for the kids.

My wife said,that there was MASS confusion,at the airport.There were 193
people booked on that flight!For some,it was a connecting flight.If they didn't
get there,they would miss the connecting flight.There was also,a HUGE family
there-Grandparents,children,Grandchildren,etc,that were flying down,to meet
a vaction Cruise Boat.They had pre-payed for the cruise.My wife re-booked
for the 29(?)My grandson,wasn't going to go(another dissappointment)until
my wife,told him that he might have to miss a few days of school.He ,then,
got this big grin on his face & told her that he would go after all! Irish

Oh Irish that is too bad that they had to go all that way and sit in the airport all that time! But 2 good things I think are: 1) They were stranded close to home and not way down in Florida and 2) Your wife was able to rebook so they can still go!! :)

AND their safe!! :D

Sorry Irish about your holiday being messed up! I wish that hurricane didn't come through for ya ;) (and of course for all here in FL).

Tell your grandson that Mickey is ok! ;)

I gave my Grandson,strict,instructions,before he left.I told him not to feel
Goofy.He was to young,to get it,but my daughter & wife laughed like hell!
