Home is Where the Heart Is

I've asked about the Pixies who are pervin' from work but how bout you home-bodies?

Are you retired, unemployed, a home-maker, a student, or a kept woman/man like myself?:D:D:p

Sharni 07-03-2004 08:42 PM

I'm a 35hr a week worker

(PF should be thankful for that *LOL*....if was a home body i'd be here :D:D )

dreamgurl 07-03-2004 09:22 PM

i'm a student and a homebody now for the summer. but i try to not stay here all day cause i have to fit in the computer chair, i don't want to have to pry it off my tush.

Mae 07-03-2004 11:15 PM

Retired from public radio. Gardening and my 4 dogs keep me from being in this chair too often. :)

campingboy 07-03-2004 11:34 PM

I work from home. Sometimes if I have time I drop in during the day, Mostly it is in the evening.

Pita 07-03-2004 11:58 PM

I am a child care provider in my house and spend most my day watching kids from where my computer is. So I have pretty much all the access I want. I am also a night owl so I am just here a lot I guess. :D

dicksbro 07-04-2004 08:08 AM

I'm retired but work part time about 15 ... sometimes as much as 20 hours a week. Not sure how long I'll keep doing this, but for now it gives me a bit of mad money and my wife a bit of peace. :D

musketeer 07-04-2004 08:20 AM

I work 37.5 hours a week on a shift rota for the NHS, in fact I've just got home and sat down and would you believe it the first thing I do is log onto Pixies LOL

scotzoidman 07-04-2004 09:21 AM

I guess I'm a kept man...you know, a real go-getter...my wife works & I go-get 'er (rim shot)
To be honest, I've been unemployed for a year now, & trying to turn it into early retirement with disability (wish me luck). I do have real constant pain that would keep me from holding down a regular job, plus I've no desire to return to an industry that used & abused me for 20 years & offered me no job security in the end...might as well follow my dream & be a musician, no security there either, but at least I enjoy that...

Oldfart 07-04-2004 02:49 PM

As a shift worker, I can be popping up on-line almost any time.

If I could access Pixies from work the western world as we know it

would grind to a halt.

Maybe not, but I like to throw importance onto an otherwise boring job.

Lil, if I come to FLA, can I be a kept man?

No, Mr Lil is a nice man, but an X chromosome short.

I’m a consultant engineer after many years in the shops, as an entrepreneur, and working in optical fiber sensor research in the physics department of a local university. Much of my work is done from home, which lets me peek in more often than I should. One of my longtime clients has given me a small office and internet computer that I’ll occasionally eavesdrop with.

Now as soon as I find a way to slow down the Smut Game floods, you’ll be the second to know. (Sharni will be the first ;) )

PS
I intend to make this kept-man thing, my next investigation project. ;)

lakritze 07-04-2004 03:30 PM

I work 12 hours in the evening 4 days then off for 4 days.No access to internet at work Perving and politicing from home.

gekkogecko 07-05-2004 08:44 AM

Well, when I'm not at the Wildlife Center dealing with turtles, I work from home. Makes perving at work indistinguishable from perving at home.

celticangel 07-05-2004 11:29 AM

I work full time~~~~~~~only get to visit here occasionally!

LordMagicMan 07-05-2004 11:43 AM

I work over full time.. ugh i hate salary, not to metion my life after work.
