Blood.... oh the blood....
 

Hey gang, I am about to crash for the evening, but have a question that I thought someone here may be able to advise me on....

I have a good amount of blood on my bed mattress. Now, there is no need to call the authorities as I have no need to dispose of bodies, but I spent the evening with a woman I have recently begun dating. I am the first person that she has had sex with and there was an unexpected amount of bleeding. I'm happy to report that she is fine and left with a beautiful smile on her face, but my queen-sized mattress has a blood stain on it that measures approximately a foot in diameter. The sheets have already been taken care of and I was amazed that they are nearly spotless now.... unfortunately, I'm at a loss as to how to clean the bed.


Thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Actually, not dramatic during the act. It was amazing. It was only afterwards that we got up and noticed the bed.

Ugh... the Pine-Sol didn't work at all. :(

I am now applying hydrogen peroxide and it has lessened the stain a bit. Looks like I'm going to be stuck with it. Luckily, there are bigger issues in life that are going well. :)

Or you could try Oxy Clean. I haven't tried it on blood, but it's taken out every other type of stain I've thrown it on.

Yes oxy-clean does work well on blood, it definitely lessens it. If all else fails just flip it! What you can't see won't hurt you!

have you tried lye soap, it gets out anything.......but i am so for the just flipping it thing, if no one can see it...is it there?

OK...so what happened? Did you get the stain out or not? Even if you haven't at this point...Oxy anything will do it. I have Oxy Magic 409 or something like that...and it get's out every stain I've used it on so far!

And on a more personal note...your new S/O might have gotten her period along with losing her virginity...and could explain the amount of blood!

Stain is still there, just not as prominently as it originally was.

Checked on the period before we even got out of bed.
