New Shoes!!

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy :D

I just got the pair of shoes I have been in love with for quite some time now, they are delicious!! :slurp:

They're Black, round toe olde-style, like from the early 1900s with one stap... oooooh, I LOVE them!!!

Sorry, but I simply HAD to share this information!! It's made my weekend....

Sounds sexy. I've been wanting a pair like those, but have been unable to find apair I really like that's in my price range. I found a stunning pair a few weeks ago at an outlet mall- for almost $100, which is about $80 out of my range. ;)

Yay! Shoe appretiation! Heehee
My favorite thing about them, is the heel, because it curves in and out again.... oooh, they're loverly. I had them on for like, 3 hours, just sitting and clicking my heels every now and then!

When you have to wear orthopedic shoes, like me,you have to get
double or triple depth,to make room for the orthopedic inserts that your foot Dr. makes($110/115,not covered by insurance),they
are not interchangeable, you take what you can get,not whats
fashionable.I wear ALOT of athletic shoes, even tho,I'm not supposed to! Irish

Oo, similiar to the style I want, but the ones I like are the ones where the strap goes around the ankle. I'll see if I can find any.

Kind of like this, except not as high, and I want a heel like the one yours have. They look like they come from the 20's era.

Gilly, these have an ankle strap, kinda.... They're gorgeous tho, I might head back to this shoe store pretty soon... lol :)

englishrose 05-22-2004 01:12 PM

Oooh, yes, I like them! I have to say, as much as I love my shoes, I cannot wear heels like the one in your pic... i would never be off the floor!!

Gilly 05-22-2004 01:15 PM

Same here, they hurt my arch too much. Tops, I'd say about 2 1/2", not the 4-5" stilletto's.

Gilly 05-22-2004 01:17 PM

Oh, here we go. Much more like THIS. I'd want the 'witch' heel, though, that curves in towards the middle. But these would do nicely as well.

I've taken a liking to flats at the moment, mostly pump-type shoes, and surprisingly, wearing them all the time hurts my feet! Because my foot is flat all day, like when i'm at work.... it's really weird, but, also a great reason to buy something a little higher, lol

englishrose 05-22-2004 01:19 PM

Oooh, yes! I really like those, but whith the heel, like you said. I always loved the shoes they wore during the second world war, that had the sloping inwards as it went down heel, and a front detail much like that last pair... i'll never find a pair of them though, they're just not around anymore!
