Our brilliant state government has decided for the month of August to decrease our gas tax by.08 cents. That would be all well and good except that the gas companies are not going to lower their prices the whole .08 cents and the $$ will go directly to the oil companies and not the consumers. |
It was 2.07 yesterday, last week for about 4 hours, it spiked to 2.19, and went right back down to 2.07. On the news last night, they showed prices through out the year, and said that since Jan 1st, it's spiked a total of $.52 (not counting in last weeks brief spike)
