When I go to visit my mother,in her assisted living home,I wish
that they had that on TV.I usually can't wait to leave.It's depressing as can be.It's like everyone is waiting to die.I love my
mother but I look for excuses not to visit. Irish

When my grandmother was in an assisted living home,she would get out and wonder all over Culver City.I always thought the two thigs that would keep them all safe at home would be some good porn on the t.v. and some great pot.

lakritze---The reason that,I put my mother,in an assisted living
home,was that,she owned a home(in Conn)that my father & I
built,but,tho I didn't know it,the State can remove you from your home,if your health isn't up to their standards.She was falling often,so I moved her here & had her sell the house.It's a good
thing that she sold it because those senior homes are mucho

my nana (97) would be swinging her feeble arms, shouting about fire and brimstone, if she ever saw such a sight on tv. it's a good thing all those sweet old ladies are sleeping.

Agree with you on both points. Every time you mention pot to someone their age they seem to conjure up these images of Haight-Ashbury of the 60s and the drug heads.

Actualy he just turned 81 last month and he couldn't stand a woman who took naps. He's too busy and active for his own good sometimes! :rolleyes: :D
