Horrible news for someone who has brought such joy and humor into the lives of others.Weird Al's Parents Found Dead

I had read the story in Salon.com. It is a tragedy.It sounded like to me,they tried to light a fire in the fire place with the flue closed and suffocated.

It's always a shame when something like this happens. Carbon monoxide detectors are relatively inexpensive, and I highly recommend them.

This is very sad. I am stunned that Al did a concert the following evening. I guess we all handle death differently.

He is supposed to be here on the 26th the day before my oldest turns 13...he wants to go to the concert soooooooo bad but I was wondering if he will still be coming.

I have loved Weird Al for almost 20 years and have to admit I was shocked when I heard he was playing a concert the next night.
