Will the real gekko please head bob
 

Just found out thuis morning that there's a new lizard on the site.

Firstly, I'd like to extend welcoming head bobs to him.

Second, I would like to make it clear that my throat fan is flashier, my head bobs are more prominent, and my barking is more audible.

At my house he would be dog food. Nothing my retriever likes better than catchnig lizards.

Was he one of those salamanders that drops his tail in a defensive mode (as a diversion) and makes his escape?

I missed him.......and his welcum/goodbye! Or.....did he make like a chameleon....and blend in???

Salamanders don't do that...
oddly enough, you're mistaking them for any one of several differing species of gekko that *can* automize their tails.

Hey gecko! I was holding some reptile once....(I was told it was a salamander).....and it dropped it's tail and I thought I broke the poor thing...but at the same time it startled me....and I threw him for 1000 ft. or more! Just a reaction....no harm meant!

*runs away before you can call the ASPCA*
