Assignment #1

For one of my classes I was given a small (lunch size) brown paper bag. It is a ME Bag. I have to put in it things to explain who I am. Everything has to fit in this bag.



OK what would be in your ME Bag?

If you put an MP3 player in it, you could store in it the variety of music that helps describe who you are.

I would put in,

1. My MP3 player, a nifty gadget indicating my love of nifty gadgets.

2. A favourite book, probably "Protector", indicating my need to
expand my horizons.

3. A compass, indicating my need to know where I'm going, unable to throw caution totally to the wind.

4. A photo of my family, indicating where I came from.

5. My Tektite, a kind of space rock, indicating my jealousy that it's
been to space and I haven't.

6. A custard tart and a mini bottle of Scotch, indicating my self
indulgence.

7. A photo of Lilith, 'cos I can.

Lilith I imagine the hot air won't stay for you. *ducks quickly and tries to stay on task

You could put a toe nail, hair clipping, and a blood sample.

I believe a picture of you at different seasons of your life could work. Because you have many levels to you.

A piece of paper with the current case number (GA) for your time, energy, and compassion for children who need you in their life.

If I have anymore ideas I will come back. ;)

Oh in my ME bag would be ........

1) a heart (my muscle of life and love)
No matter what happens, when, that is always the same.

Pics~ of me and Mr. Lil, of each of my babies in the mountains, a collage of all of my Pixies friends, and a pic of a red 68 ghia

Teacup~ goofy things I collect, I have hundreds, I have an old-fashioned streak

Jewelry~ some of my handmade treasures

Bouquet~ of herbs...most people think flowers are the most beautiful but herbs do it for me

High Priestess~ tarot card symbolizes, decisions, intutition, knowledge, wisdom, she holds an apple~wrapped in my Gram's hanky

red jalepeno~ from my garden, to symbolize my life in Texas

flogger~ :D cause well, I am a domineering bitch

finger pricker~ cause diabetes is right pissing me off

seashell~ cause I love my time at the beach condo

crystal cordial glass~ I love entertaining and planning events, right down to the liquers, playing bartender, love making my friends feel welcome, being a good hostess

I would put in my bag in no real order

1) Photo's of my family and friends
2) an atlas. I love to travel and planning the trip is half the fun. In the depths of winter I look at the maps and thing of where I want to visit next summer.
3) Some Coffee. I do love a good cup of coffee. It is also while drinking the coffee that I have many of the good conversations with my friends.
4) A book. Reading is so enjoyable.

Okay...I thought long and hard about this one. I've decided the bag ain't big enough...lol But..here's a try:

1. Photos of all my family and friends..Me and my hubby. And of my furry friends from over the years..including my little one now..Gigi a long haired chocolate colored Chuawawa (sp?)
2. The journal I've been collecting quotes in for years.
3. "Moo"- The very first gift my Hubby bought me. A little pink and blue stuffed cow. (He's so worn with love now..lol)
4.Since that little bag is too small to fit all the books that need to go in there I will have a list of them.. The Bronze Horseman and the Sequel called Tatiana and Alexander by Paulina Simons and The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. And the Harry Potter Series
5.The Pixies Place web address.
6. A Scrap of fabric from my wedding dress. (Rennaisance Wedding @ my Aunt's farm) W/ the pic the Photographer took from up in the loft of the barn of everyone gathered together waving. *tearing up here..lol*
7. A can of Coors light and a grilled cheese sandwich for my beer drinkin and diner @ 3 am days. :D
8. My notebook with all my short stories I've written.
9. A small bottle each of Love Spell from Victoria's Secrete and Obsession.
10. A box of Kraft Mac n Cheese...mmmmm

I think I filled the bag a long time ago..lol But that's it that I can think of short notice.:D

A toothbrush (I don't know where I'm going?......I'm bringing a toothbrush!)

A bota bag filled with something to warm my cockles
My Lover's Keepsake book (to look at and remember all the romance)
A vibe and Energizer® batteries :D
A good book
A guitar pick (cause I can't fit the whole guitar but ya never know when ya might run into one)
A change of underpanties (I was a Girl Scout)
A box of tampons (Hey! I said I was a Girl Scout!)
M.R.E.'s (freeze dried meals the soldiers eat)
Hand and moisturizing lotions
A bar of soap
A tiny personal fan (for the white noise effect)

A piece of chocolate candy -- because I can (now that I'm an adult)
A picture of the Marin Headlands from my S/O
A poem written by my father
A tax form completed by my step-father
Some Vitamin E -- symbolizing both my job and my obsession with health
A CD of some music I've performed
A love letter I wrote and never sent
Copy of a lesson plan I teach to at-risk high school students
A christmas card from my co-workers
A lock of my hair from when I was younger
A switchblade from my collection

What's in my bag is played in some councling groups. here is one from years ago

I put the TV antenna in mine cause now we live in an APT we cant get the good stations that we uset to get in the house with the antenna on the roof


Pic and some clothes to ready to be off an an adventure are in my bag.
