"Spam" Free!
They are now trying to pass a law, that you can't send, unsolicited
advertisements thru e-mails.Like the No-Call list for telemarketers! Let's hope that it passes.Everyday,I get countless unsolicited ads, for everything from enlarging my penis to buying prescription drugs, without a prescription, etc. My server changed my address, from [email protected] to [email protected] was changed by the server, but they still honor the old address.I have noticed that most of the ads use the old address. Some of them, have an address,to send "remove"to.With at least 3 of them,I recieved a "No such address"reply,in my mail! Now,I just"Delete" them & don't bother! The "delete them and dont bother" is the way to deal with all spam
Once you reply to them they know they've got an active email address and will sell your addie to other spammers Ummmm also Irish....tis not such a good idea to broadcast it on a thread either....i'm pretty sure there would be spammers lurking around here hun.....and you've just given a place to send their shit :) |
^^^^^^ OOPS..... LOL!

Irish,
It is becoming an irritant, isn’t it? As the ISPs have been granted general exemption from policing their own facilities, I have a hard time imagining any other resolution. |
