Harassment/ Cyber Stalking/ Intimidation
 

I want to remind all members current and pospective that these forums will not be used to harass or intimidate members. Any member who uses the email/PM system/boards for the purpose of harassing or intimidating members will not be allowed to remain a member. This is policy and stands whether the offender be female or male. You have to be 18 to access these boards and mature, safe, responsible behavior is expected.


If you are unclear if something you are doing is possible harassment I suggest you contact a moderator.

Somethings that fall into this category are:

Repeatedly contacting a member who has refused contact with you.

Posting or messaging that is solely to intimidate, violent, or threatening.

Using the site resources to gain information used to harass or stalk members elsewhere.



I invite members to elaborate on what types of activities they consider to be inappropriate.

I also want to encourage any member who ever feels intimidated or harassed to contact me or anyone of the fabulous moderators. We have ways of dealing with people who do not respect the boundaries.

I enjoy getting pm's and I understand that Pixies is an adult site, but it does get a little wierd when someone who hasn't ever posted before pms me wanted pictures or something. Especialy since I haven't posted pictures in over a year! But most people take the hint when I just ignore them that I'm not interested.

I do love the comfort of pixies and appriciate so many people who make it fun to hang out here! :p

Great idea. This site is a great place to visit and I'm amazed at how you all keep it an upbeat, positive and "safe" place to meet.

I have pretty thick skin, so not much bothers me. But it's nice to have the rules spelled out for us all because as polite and witty as I try to be, well, someone who doesn't know me can misinterpret things. It's a good reminder.

I dont mind PMs one bit...Its when people like to harrass you on an IM server that bothers me. Yes I have a life...yes I dont respond to IMs at that very second. So please quit "Buzzing" me! Ok rant over...hehe...Gotta love the ignore button.. :)

I have seen the mods in action when inappropriate behavior is going on (Sharni morphing in chat :D ), and know that members are and will continue to be protected!!!

Fortunately I've not had any problems and with reminders like this hopefully that will remain so.

Well it's hard to realize that what one person may find amusing another may find intimidating...

The rule of thumb is , if someone is not interested in you then back off!!!!!

I hate it when someone takes something good and kills it.I have been stalked for the last year by someone I was up front with and told I was not interested in. Everytime I thought it was safe back in the water there she was again.I finally think its over cross your fingers for me
