What did you do during Blackout 2003??
 

I was just intrested to see what fun stuff everyone did during this past weeks blackout in the NE USA?

A few of us have been posting to this thread about our time in the dark.:)

Us Canadians in Ontario were without power, too.

I spent too much of the time smelling a skunky dog! :)

My power didnt go out. thankfully. but i probably enjoyed the power while you people didnt. >=)

What did I do?????

Talk about a mess!
We went without power for 79 hours!!!
We did not have working flashlight in the house!! LOL

I hadn't replaced the batteries in the portable radio since we come back from our camping trip! So...we were NOT prepared at all whatsoever for this!!!

And it's still not up to par...went off last night for 3 hours!!

This is the first time I turn on my computer since last Thursday Morning! :(

But...my freezer which needed defrosting is done!!!...LOL :D
And my fridge which needed a good cleaning is finally done!....LOL

And now...here comes the big grocery order!! GRRRR!!:mad:

Note To Self---> Buy a flashlight, c batteries, d batteries and more beer. :D

You better get some extra batteries for the flashlight too. ;)

Got pissed off that the surge before the blackout fried the power supply in my computer... and it was only 3 months old!

Bummer, sodbuster. Did the warranty take care of it ... I hope.
