Iggy's coming home! September 10 and it will be a colorful homecoming since the place he is at is all brown and beige! 31 days and counting.................

Aren't you excited!!!!!! I know my brother-in-law just came back from there. But a word of warning! He may be stressed! lots of dead bodies to deal with over there.:( It wasn't pretty! But you can take his mind off of it right? hehe:p

The next 31 days are going to drag but I have so much to do to get ready so that will be alright. My daughter will be in school so I will have a few hours each day to just listen to him. That is what the unit chaplian told me to do, just listen to him. Of course I expect there to be a few hours of only touching.;)

Well damn! Figures typical military hurry up and wait bullshit! Iggy is still coming home but because his unit isn't leaving that area he has to "hitch a ride" with a unit that is leaving. His return date has changed to between Sept. 10-20.:( Its only maybe 10 extra days but that is 10 more days of not seeing him. I got mad at first but this is the military so that can change again. I keep telling myself after December the military will no longer rule our lives! I also got some really good news too! We get his daughter for Christmas break, I haven't met her yet but love her already. We share a nickname, princess and she picked out my engagement ring, a princess cut diamond! She was only 4 then and already has good taste in jewelry.
